The carefully considered design direction responds to the Māori narratives and philosophies ingrained across the collection and embodies the principles of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei. I worked closely with the curators to produce a limited edition book that tells a richly textured and distinctively Aotearoa story and highlights key ideas in Māori mythology and philosophy that feed into this important collection. A set of subtle and tasteful wayfinding elements was deployed to tie the significant works of the collection together.
